Dr. Walz is originally from Minnesota. She went to college at North Dakota State University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree before proceeding to medical school. She earned her medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada and completed her residency training at Louisiana State University in Lake Charles.

Dr. Walz has been practicing family medicine for almost 14 years. She enjoys all aspects of family medicine and loves providing care from infancy through geriatrics. She is capable of handling a wide variety of problems and medically complex patients. She believes the physician patient relationship is key to providing the best care and takes her time seeing patients. She provides both acute and comprehensive medical care depending on the situation.

Dr. Walz lives in San Antonio and enjoys spending time with her family. She is close to her parents and has two siblings along with a niece and a nephew. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, watching movies, and gaming.
